Current waste management practices at Maame Krobo Health Centre pose significant risks to patient and staff health, environmental contamination, and regulatory non-compliance. Specifically, these challenges include Inadequate segregation and disposal of infectious waste, compromising patient and staff health, improper disposal of hazardous waste, leading to environmental contamination as well as non-compliance with regulatory requirements, resulting in potential legal and reputational consequences.
