From Idea to Impact: Leading Sustainable Change

The 8th Social Entrepreneurship and Philanthropy (SEaP) Conference is a flagship event under the MSc Development Management programme at KNUST-IDL. This year’s theme, “From Idea to Impact: Leading Sustainable Change,” highlights the power of social entrepreneurship and philanthropy in addressing pressing societal challenges.
The conference will feature student-led projects tackling issues such as healthcare, education, environmental sustainability, and economic empowerment. It will also host the DAIMA Award, recognizing outstanding alumni making a difference in their communities.

Inspiring Active Citizenship: The Role of the Development Manager

The 7th Social Entrepreneurship and Philanthropy (SEaP) Conference explored the theme: “Inspiring Active Citizenship: The Role of the Development Manager.”
This event highlighted how development managers drive change by engaging communities, fostering innovation, and leading sustainable initiatives. Through insightful discussions and project showcases, participants were inspired to take active roles in shaping impactful solutions for societal challenges.

Students of the Institute’s MSc Development Management programme on Saturday, 25th March, 2023 held their 6th Social Entrepreneurship and Philanthropy Conference (SEaP) under the theme “I am a problem Solver”. The programme was held at the Conference Centre of the Institute.
